Situation

In 2022, amid post-pandemic division and social unrest in the United States, Nickelodeon aimed to positively influence the national conversation for the sake of children and their families.

 

Challenge

Enable a fun-focused children's TV network to credibly address America's social divisions by engaging through "pure play" messaging.

 

Insight

Children hold the unique power to unite adults by sparking wholesome conversations that inspire parents to take action, using familiar concepts.

 

Solution

Revive the concept of pen pals, working with diverse children to capture their authentic connections and conversations.
